Rwanda is related as African music, but it is more folk music. So, Rwanda is most popular music in African country so most important and recognized Rwanda Music is Ikinimba. The iknimba has popular because it is mostly singing about various stories related on the life of the heroes and famous kings who had lived into the Rwanda.
Some of the most important instruments which are in using for playing and singing on instruments are inganga, imidiri, ikmge, ingoma, iningiri and other. Before of the suffering that has happened into the 1994 there were lots of important bands and artist into the Rwanda music. Most of musicians and bands were Abaramungy, Nympinga, Bisa, Les Fellows, Los Compagnons, Impala, Isibo y’Ishakwe, Ingenzi and others. After the genocide in Rwanda, lots of musicians leaved this country and went to the places free of the suffering as it was into this country. The most important role into the creating of Rwanda music plays and sounds of Caribbean country, as well as reggae music.
Considering that Rwandan music comes from African sounds and music, it cold be supposed that Rwanda music is music that comes form the slaves. It is because of the fact that African music is related on the music of slaves. After that each year slaves have finished work at their owner, slaves, who were from Africa go into the road and singed. The songs that they sung were mostly fun and some kind of joke about them and their owner. For singing, they needed to ask for permission from their owners.
There are various instruments that are in using when it is about African music, but most important role into the music are playing drums, various types of them. It is because of the fact that drums give strong rhythms and dance melody to the music. Also, this music is very loud because of the influences which come with the timber.

Actually, this music is played fro weddings, celebrating, birthdays and other occasions, but also and for some celebration connected with country and other. Most songs are also related on the religions topics and also have religions forms. These songs are mostly folk songs, but also there are and other genres of the Rwanda country, such as jazz, reggae, rock, hip-hop, rap and other.
